The National Centre for the Management of Territorial Service is a public organization serving regional or local authorities and their agents. It is responsible for training the personnel of local authorities and organizing local civil service exams. It is also involved in local civil service modernization projects. The CNFPT also offers training services for foreign public organizations.
Due to its training mission the CNFPT is important in the field of local service. The CNFPT operates in France. It connects together regional and local authorities by the means of 29 regional delegations, 4 national schools and a training institute for senior staff.
